I. Job Summary: 

The CCTV Officer and Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the CCTV systems within the premises. This role ensures the security of the organization by overseeing all surveillance systems and performing preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

II. Job Requirements and Responsibilities

1. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting various types of CCTV cameras (IP, analog, HD, PTZ).
2. Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify and respond to suspicious activities. 
3. Familiarity with networking basics, especially in IP configurations, connectivity, and bandwidth management.
4. Ability to work with cabling and connections, such as coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optics.
5. Knowledge of video management software (VMS) and network video recorders (NVR).
6. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs or upgrades when necessary. 
7. Maintain inventory of CCTV-related equipment and arrange for replacements as required.

III. Daily Report of CCTV status

1. Act as a point of contact for emergency situations involving CCTV operations.
2. Provide guidance on optimal camera placement and coverage to enhance security measures.
